Doctor Andrew Smyth D.C.
Dr. Smyth has been in practice for over 20 years. He grew up in Burlington, MA and has a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Fitchburg State College and his D.C. degree from Life University. Dr. Smyth has practiced Quantum Spinal Mechanics (QSM3) since its inception and is a founding member of the organization.
He continues to train with the technique's creator, Dr. Russell Friedman. Prior to that, he attained part II certification in NUCCA, the approach that QSM3 evolved from.
Dr. Smyth spent five years in the computer science field before realizing that working with people would be more fulfilling than working on computers.
"Life is meant to be lived and enjoyed, not just survived."
Given this thought…..
The body is actively holding its stressed position, so if we can understand more deeply the underlying cause(s), we can assist and support the body in regaining a better, healthier state. Dr. Smyth continues to evolve his understanding of this and adapts his technique to release better the stress and strain that limits our physical, mental, and emotional well-being for the short and long term.
Dr. Smyth has a passion for biking, hiking, and personal development. He loves exotic fruits and is a foodie. He also enjoys kayaking and movies. He went on a chiropractic mission trip to Peru twice, has jumped out of an airplane two different ways, went scuba diving twice (want to do some more), and one of his favorite experiences was called "The Edge," where he leaned over the edge of a cliff at 45 degrees.
