Our Chiropractor Norfolk County offices offer the following services
NUCCA -- A very gentle, precise, and unique method that only 1% of chiropractors practice. The focus is on the upper neck and removing the global misalignment of the body. The doctors uses x-rays of the upper neck to calculate a formula specific for a person to release pressure on the top of the spinal that can cause health problems and decreases in health throughout the body. Most people's experience of the adjustment is "underwhelming" as it just feels like the doctor is gently touching the side of your neck a number of times. (For further details go the NUCCA page)
KST -- Koren Specific Technique is an instrument technique & methodology that can be used to adjust structural imbalances and misalignment throughout the body including individual levels, discs, extremities, and the skull. This method is more intuitive where the doctor uses leg checks or head checks (called Occipital Drop) to tests for the places to adjust using the Arthrostim instrument.
Bodytalk -- Body talk is a cutting edge method to correct energetic imbalances in the body. It combines the ideas of chiropractic, acupunture and Chinese medicine to address energetic imbalances. Mostly common, the doctor will balances an area by tapping on the head followed by and tapping over your heart. The protocol can be used to address a vast array of imbalances and the majority of people will notice a level of tension release in their body.
We do have special equipment for care during pregnancy so that mom and baby can be healthy.
Being an upper cervical office and measuring misalignments in the neck down to 1/4 degree, Dr. Smyth's takes x-ray on site and has specialized equipment to take accurate upper neck x-rays. He also will take other x-rays on a case by case basis.
